Background Information:
We are a multipurpose independent non-profit organization serving the Jewish community and general public of southeastern Wyoming. The Laramie Jewish Community Center (LJCC) has provided a variety of services including cultural programs, religious service and social activities for over 30 years.
Founded by a group of dedicated Jewish University of Wyoming students and faculty in 1978, the LJCC is affiliated with the Reform Movement of Judaism, the Union of Reform Judaism (formerly UAHC - the Union of American Hebrew Congregations) with headquarters in New York.
Since it has no permanent location, the LJCC holds its activities at the Masonic Lodge, community facilities or private homes.
Dues are collected annually. Membership cost is $275 for families, $150 for singles and $25 for students.
