Celebrations/Events: We usually hold shabbat services once a month.
Each fall the LJCC sponsors High Holy Day service on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, usually conducted by a student rabbi from the Union for Reform Judaism New York, a branch of the Reform seminary.
Holiday celebrations are held for Sukkot, Chanukkah, Tu B'Shevat, and Purim. One of the big highlights of the year is the community Passover seder.
Joyous community gatherings include Bar and Bat Mitzvah services. Periodically, religious education including instruction in Hebrew, adult torah study, guest speakers and book groups are held.
At the end of the summer we have our annual LJCC Welcome Back picnic. This gives new people to the community including students a chance to meet members of the Laramie Jewish Community Center.
